The selection of a proper shotgun sling mount can afford the shooter tactical flexibility in a combat environment. Although shotgun sling swivels are still popular in hunting applications, most tactical or combat shotguns do not incorporate a shotgun sling swivel. Instead a fixed shotgun attachment is deployed for the front, at the mag tube, and the rear just behind the receiver. This allows for quick transitioning. GG&G manufactures eleven sling attachments for shotguns, all of which accept 1 1/4 inch slings. These include a shotgun sling mount for the Remington 870, 1100, and 1187 as well as the Mossberg 500, and 590. A tactical shotgun attachment for the Benelli M1 and M3 Super 90 rounds out the sling mounts manufactured by GG&G. Unlike the shotgun sling adapter manufactured by competitors stamped from insubstantial sheet metal with sharp or unfinished edges, each GG&G shotgun sling attachment is laser cut and machined. In addition, each shotgun sling mount goes through several processes to round the edges and dehorn the part for the shooters safety.
