The Work Horse Mossberg 930 was introduced in 2005. It is estimated that there are about 750,000 Mossberg 930's still operational. With the ability to use Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), the GG&G New Product Development Team, thought it would be great to update the Tactical Presence of the Mossberg 930 Shotgun with a Replacement Tactical Forearm With M-LOK Slots, and while we were at it, design and develop an Integrated Tactical Heat Shield as an option. GG&G is offering the Mossberg 930 Integrated Heat Shield as an option because not all shooters use the "Extended Grip" technique and would prefer not to have one. But, even if you don't use the "Extended Grip" there are other reasons to use the 930 Heat Shield. One of them being "It Looks Bad Ass Tactical".

The New Tactical Mossberg 930 Forearm is full length and has a large dynamic textured surface area to aide in your grip. Especially useful  in stress situations. The M-LOK Slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock at the front of the Tactical Forend allow you to easily add M-LOK Sling Attachments, Light Rails and other M-LOK Accessories as needed. The Mossberg Tactical Handguard takes about five minutes to install just like the factory Mossberg forend. No installation hardware or special tools are required  Check out the specifications below.

The New Mossberg 930 Heat Shield is a full length one piece Heat Shield designed to easily mate with the GG&G Mossberg 930 Tactical Forend. The Replacement Forend or Mossberg barrel does not need to be removed for the 930 Heat Shield to be installed. The Heat Shield extends all the way back to the receiver and completely covers the top surface of the barrel. The 930 Heat Shield provides significant heat dissipation created during high round count shooting. Although vented, there are no vent holes at the critical "extended grip"  location to prevent major discomfort from the barrel heat or worse yet, burnt fingers. The ergonomics of the GG&G 930 Heat Shield accommodates shooters that like to roll the shotgun over, place the stock on their shoulder for support, and reload from this position.  Please note that the Mossberg Integrated Heat Shield cannot be installed without the New Mossberg 930 Tactical Forend being in place.
