PLEASE NOTE: This Part will not fit the Ruger AR-556 A-Frame front sight due to the fact that the Ruger A-Frame is not per MIL-SPEC dimensions. This part is manufactured specifically to fit MIL-SPEC A-Frame front sights.

It's generally accepted that tactical slings should be mounted on the side of the weapon. GG&G manufactures Front And Rear "Sling Thing" Sling Attachments that provide standard 1 1/4 inch sling swivels in this preferred sling mounting position.
