AR-15 Optic Rails

Selecting a scope base for an AR15/M16 flattop is extremely important because it influences your overall tactical capability. A scope rail manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 and other military standards will assure you of proper scope integration when you install your optic on the adapter rail. All of the GG&G scope rails are manufactured from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum or 4040 steel and finished with mil-spec plating. With the number of different types of scopes available today, GG&G manufactures a specific scope base not only for traditional magnified optics, but provides a specific tactical rail for the Aimpoint, EOTech, Reflex, and ACOG. When mounting the selected optic to the AR 15 optic one can choose between a traditional squeeze rail type of mounting system or one of the Accucam (sometimes misspelled acucam) Quick Detach styles. Either way, a GG&G scope base gun rail is built to withstand the rigors of combat.
