Sling Adapter (MURP)

When you look at the 150 products we manufacture, it is easy to see that we like to give our customers options and the ability to be flexible in their solutions to tactical encounters. So when our customers requested that we manufacture a receiver end plate sling mount for AR15 collapsible stock models that allows them the ability to use both the standard sling webbing for attachment, and the HK style snap clips for attachment, we were happy to oblige. Our Multi-Use Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter For Collapsible Stocks (MURP) is a result of those requests. It will accept up to 1 1/4 inch webbing for traditional sling attachments, and has a special annular feature that allows those slings with HK style snap hooks to be used without having to change out the receiver end plate sling adapter. This innovative sling adapter plate not only allows the use of two different attachment methods, but also allows for the use of single point slings and the attachment of a conventional sling in conjunction with the front sling swivel. As can be seen in the photographs, the attachment features have been kept low so that they do not interfere with the charging handle.

The MURP is available in right and left hand configurations, and In response to customer requests, is now available in an ambidextrous configuration. It has all of the great features of the standard MURP with the added benefit of ambidextrous use.

As with all GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters, this AR15 sling mount is designed for professional use being machined at our facility from AS-35 Geneva steel. Of exceptionally high quality, this famous Swiss steel features molecular structure with elongated grains for added toughness. It has a manganese phosphate matte black finish per mil-spec. This collapsible stock side sling adapter can easily be installed by the operator.
