Accucam QD Mounting System Technical Specifications:
The Accucam is a unique and innovative quick detach system that retrofits directly to the body of the EOTech. The GG&G EOTech Accucam QD Locking Lever System replaces the EOTech socket head screw or thumbnut attachment method. The EOTech Accucam QD Mounting System is the only QD Lever System available today that does not add height to the EOTech. The Accucam System is installed at the factory. This system fits new and existing EOTech sights that have the protective shroud and only adds three ounces. It is fully adjustable to fit Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 dovetails, even those that are worn or out of spec.
Once the system is installed on the EOTech, the sight can be installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position. It can then be quickly removed by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the unlocked position. In tests, the EOTech Accucam Locking Lever System has shown to be repeatable to less than 1/2 MOA. The unique finger loop design is easily operated, even with a gloved hand and the rounded design is ergonomic and virtually snag-proof. Remember all other quick detach lever systems and other mounting systems, require that the EOTech be attached to another mount and then mounted to the firearm. This double mounting method raises the EOTech 1/2 to 1 inch above the dovetail when mounted, and not only negatively affects your cheek weld, but limits your ability to co-witness with the iron sights.
GG&G EOTech Lens Cover Technical Specifications:
Lens covers are cheap insurance for the lenses of an expensive optic. That's why we include them in every EOTech package we sell. The GG&G EOTech Lens Covers fit between the EOTech hood and the body of the EOTech housing and are factory installed. They are spring operated so that once pressure is applied to release them from the closed position, they spring open. The rear cover lays across the top, so as not to interfere with the field of view. The front cover opens and serves as a sun shield. However, if heavy brush etc. is encountered, the front lens cover will fold back so that it is not damaged. Because of the contours of the EOTech housing, the lens covers are not 100% waterproof, but they do prevent most dust, debris, rain and snow from accumulating on the lenses. These unique lens covers can be easily operated with either hand to provide flexibility of operation. The design and methodology is so unique that we were awarded a patent. GG&G EOTech Lens Covers fit models 511, 512, 551, and 552. More info on GG&G EOTech Lens Covers.
