The Aimpoint CompM3 tactical optic incorporates over 30 years of Aimpoint's internationally recognized design innovations. The Aimpoint M3 is reported to be more rugged than Aimpoint's other sights. This sight features Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology (ACET) that gives the sight unparalleled battery life and ease of use.
Although sometimes overlooked, it is important to note that this optic is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief. The Comp M3 is compatible with all generations of night vision. It has ten settings of brightness intensity: 4 NVD, and 6 daylight, of which one is extra bright. The The Aimpoint CompM3 scope holds up under the roughest physical handling and can withstand the most severe weather conditions and temperatures. In fact the CompM3 is completely submersible and will withstand pressures over 2.5 atmospheres allowing it to be taken up to 150 feet underwater. The latest ACET technology allows approximately 50,000 hours of daytime operation on intensity setting 7. Approximately 500,000 hours of use on the night vision settings. Unlike some other mounts on the market today, the GG&G Cantilever Aimpoint Ring is manufactured to the correct height for co-witnessing with Back Up Iron Sights. It's light weight ergonomic design places the Aimpoint far enough forward on an AR15/M16 flat top to insure quick target aquisition. The Aimpoint Scope is securely held in place with six socket head cap screws and the mount includes a waterproof spare Aimpoint battery compartment. The GG&G Accucam Quick Detach Cantilever Aimpoint Ring has the same features as our original Cantilever Ring, the body is manufactured from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum, six cap screws firmly hold the scope in place, and the insulated waterproof battery compartment keeps the spare battery handy. The Accucam QD Locking Lever System provides a solid method to quickly install or remove the Aimpoint from the weapon. The Aimpoint can be installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotatingthe Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position. It can just as quickly be removed. Unlike other systems, it is fully adjustable for worn or out of spec MIL-STD-1913 dovetails. In tests the Accucam Cantilever Ring has shown to be repeatable to 1/2 MOA. The loop design is easily operated, even with a gloved hand and the rounded design is ergonomic and virtually snag proof.
