Aimpoint CompM2 Technical Specifications:
The Aimpoint CompM2 or M68/CCO tactical optic is the standard sight for the US Army and the US Air Force as well as the armed forces of many NATO countries. Although sometimes overlooked, it is important to note that this optic is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief. The CompM2/M68 scope is compatible with all generations of night vision. It has ten settings of brightness intensity: 4 NVD, and 6 daylight, of which one is extra bright. The Aimpoint M2 holds up under the roughest physical handling and can withstand the most severe weather conditions and temperatures. In fact the CompM2/M68 sight is completely submersible and will withstand pressures up to 2.5 atmospheres allowing it to be taken up to 75 feet underwater. The latest CET technology allows approximately 10,000 hours of daytime operation on one battery depending on the dot intensity setting. Approximately 100,000 hours of use on the night vision settings. The Aimpoint Comp M2 has 4 MOA red dot.

Unlike some other mounts on the market today, the GG&G Cantilever Aimpoint Ring is manufactured to the correct height for co-witnessing with Back Up Iron Sights (BUIS). It's light weight ergonomic design places the Aimpoint far enough forward on an AR15/M16 flat top to insure quick target aquisition. The Aimpoint Scope is securely held in place with six socket head cap screws and the mount includes a waterproof spare Aimpoint battery compartment. The captivated eliptical thumbnut and spring activated sidebar provide an easy yet solid method of attachment to the weapons dovetail base.

The A2 BUIS is the #1 selling GG&G back up iron sight. Weighing in at just over 2 ounces, it features the standard military A2-style double peep aperture. This super package includes the Aimpoint Comp M2 and the GG&G Accucam QD Cantilever Ring. The Accucam QD Cantilever Aimpoint Ring has the same features as our original Cantilever Ring, the body is manufactured from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum, six cap screws firmly hold the scope in place, and the insulated waterproof battery compartment keeps the spare battery handy. The Accucam QD Locking Lever System provides a solid method to quickly install or remove the Aimpoint from the weapon. The Aimpoint can be installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position. It can just as quickly be removed.
