Aimpoint 3X Magnifier Technical Specifications;

The Aimpoint 3X Magnifier module is especially designed to be compatible with Aimpoint sights and for maximum flexibility and increased performance in the field.

In addition we have found it to be fully compatible with the EOTech Holosights when mounted with the GG&G Multi-Flex Quick Detach Mount.

When combined with the GG&G Multi-Flex Mount as shown in the top photos, the user has something never before possible; the ability to switch in a split second from a CQB configuration to a magnified long range shooting set up.

The 3X Magnifier is as rugged and as durable as any of Aimpoint's Comp Series optics, and can withstand rough handling and the roughest of environmental conditions. It is fully submersible to 20 meters under water. When not weapons mounted the 3X Aimpoint Magnifier can also be used as a hand held observation device.

The Aimpoint magnifier does not have a reticle of its own but uses the red dot or reticle in the Aimpoint or EOTech as the aiming reticle. This eliminates the need to re-zero when shifting from non-magnified to magnified use or vice versa. The Aimpoint 3X magnifier is rubber covered for increased protection from shock as well as providing an ergonomic grip when used as a hand held monocular.

Besides the 3X Aimpoint Magnifier this package includes the GG&G Multi-Flex Base. GG&G is known for making Aimpoint Bases that improve accuracy and functionality. In 2006, Aimpoint introduced a 3X magnifier that can be used in conjunction with all Aimpoint scopes for long-range aiming. When coupled with the GG&G Quick Detach 3X Adapter and QD Multi-Flex Mount it can be removed in seconds for CQB situations or installation of the ITT PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular for night targeting. The GG&G Quick Detach Multi-Flex System also allows the Aimpoint Magnifier to be used effectively behind the EOTECH Holosight. When not weapons mounted the 3X magnifier can also be used as a hand-held observation device. The GG&G Quick Detach Multi-Flex High Mount is basically our QD Night Vision High Mount slightly re-designed to accept both the mounting ring for the ITT PVS-14 night vision monocular and the GG&G Aimpoint 3X Scope Mount Adapter. It is fully compatible with MIL-STD-1913 dovetails. As can be seen in the photos, the Multi-Flex High Mount and Aimpoint 3X Magnifier Mount set up is best used behind the Aimpoint Comp M2 when it is mounted in a component such as the GG&G Aimpoint Cantilever Ring or an Aimpoint QRP mounting ring. The GG&G QD Multi-Flex High Mount is manufactured from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and type III hard anodized matte black to mil-spec. The steel components of the Multi-Flex Mount are manufactured from 4140 ordnance steel manganese phosphated matte black per mil-spec. The mounting ring for the ITT PVS-14 is manufactured from 4140 ordnance steel and manganese phosphated matte black per mil-spec.
