AR-15 Forearm Accessories

The use of the foregrip of the AR15/M16 weapon system for a rail mount or tactical mount has become extremely popular. Although the foregrip by itself is not free floating, a Picatinny rail can be installed to the underside of the foregrip to provide a platform for mounting a vertical grip or bipod. The GG&G UFIR NSN: 1005-01-541-2476 provides such a Picatinny rail. It is an inexpensive way to provide a rail mount on the foregrip of your AR15/M16. We offer a small Picatinny rail which can also be installed on the side of the foregrip to provide a rail mount for tactical lights. If more Picatinny rails are needed to mount flashlights, lasers, vertical grips and bipods to the AR15, then a GG&G Tactical Modular Forearm may be in order. It provides mounting rails that can be installed in virtually any position on the GG&G foregrip which is machined from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum. A fully free floating and non-free floating version are available. This tactical mount provides unbelievable flexibility to the shooter so that the forearm can be configured to match their shooting style or mission requirements. M4 rail compatibility is also the same on most forearm accessories, but you should check the product description for details. Of course all the rails provided in the kit are Picatinny rails and meet MIL-STD-1913.
